Am I Holding on to God?

Am I Holding on to God?
March 14, 2018 Elisha

I was walking with my children yesterday through a large crowd of people at an event. It was a place they’d never been before. I told them to hold on to me so they wouldn’t be led astray or get lost. My youngest wrapped his arm around my leg tightly. He couldn’t see where he was going, or what turn we were gonna make next but he trusted me and had a good grip. I asked myself, “Am I holding on to God like this? Do I trust God like this?” It’s never too late to start. Let’s talk to Him.

Psalm/Pray Out Loud:
Father, I am aware that I am protected by You. You are my safe haven, my refuge, I trust You and hide in Your secret place. What good am I without You? Its impossible for me to be anything or to know where to go without my Author, my Creator. Only in You am I able to walk in excellence, nobility, success, and favor. This is true living, there is no other way to live but in this delight. I shall never give in to false gods who only produce sorrow, leads astray, and who’s ultimate goal is for my demise. I chose You and only Your way today! I yield my life and assign my cup to overflow with the Holy Spirit. I am maintained by You in this place. All my resources come from You. I align myself to accept my heritage through Jesus Christ. My heart is on specific assignment to do Your will, to walk in my calling, and to be the agent of change in my world. I stay close and partake of Your pleasures forevermore. In Jesus mighty name I pray, Amen.
