My Love Story

My Love Story
December 11, 2019 Elisha

My love story wouldn’t have worked with anyone else (approaching 20 years-⭐️3/25/00). I had two proposals before my husband, and one after I was already engaged 💍. The last suitor stated that God said I was suppose to be his wife. I knew in my heart that wasn’t true. God showed me these other guys falling in love with the possibly of me, but not truly capable to handle the weight of what I carried, the calling on my life, the mantle I inherited, the struggles I would face. We had nothing in common, not even our faith (2 Cor 6:14). Here’s what really stood out! Only my husband Dameon Brown went directly to my dad and expressed his heart and intentions for me. He knew God, my dad loved him, and so did I.

I want to encourage everyone to be really careful, these are the last days. Don’t let anyone or any spirit deceive you. Saying yes to the wrong spouse can completely alter your life. Be 100% sure it’s God! God gives us a choice, free will. We must incorporate Him in all our decision making(Proverbs 3:5-6). Our spouses are designed to be a gift, not constant heartache. This is where the blessings lie, not in our feelings, but in unity, obedience, a willingness to serve God and each other. Once your marriage is on the same page it will be full of miracles, signs, wonders, and an igniting of His beauty and power. An anointing is released as you both serve God together in obedience. This is what God is doing in this next decade. I pray that no one misses out, but that all would focus and hear God clearly 🙏🏽 it’s all for His glory. –
