God is doing a new thing whether we believe it or not. It can be difficult to fight through what seems to be staring us right in our faces. But we don’t have to fight alone. Gods word is here to help us speak His promises over our lives so that we can start realizing His will and reality for us. It’s a day by day journey. No matter what your facing, just take the time and Psalm Outloud with His words. I prayed with Colossians 3:1-17 and immediately felt the sweetness of the Holy Spirit breathing in my heart. This is what the enemy strategically fights to keep us from. That peace, that beauty in God. Join me, let’s talk to the Father together.
Dear Father, I choose to put on my new self. I die to flesh and commit daily as I am raised within You. I choose new life, I share in Your resurrection from this grave Satan wants me so adamantly to dwell in. I understand that it’s crucial that I continually seek things above where Christ sits at Your right hand. Only the heavenly things matter, this is what You want my eyes on. The enemy wants me to focus on earthly temporal things. But I reject those thoughts NOW! I die to this world and my new life is so much greater! This beautiful, free, and powerful life hidden within Christ is worth living. I have victory in Your glory. Hallelujah!! I decree and declare today that all darkness, heaviness, evil longings, earthly attention seeking, sensual self-centered motives, immorality, impurity, sinful passions, greed, idolatry, anything that tries to replace my devotion to You Father…is disconnected from me forever. I rid myself completely of all these things. My new life, my new self takes precedence! I am continually renewed in truth, in power, in Your image my love. From this day forward I operate in holiness, compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, forgiveness, and endurance for whatever unpleasantness that comes. I walk in unselfish love. Your divine peace rules in my heart. I choose newness of self! In Jesus name. It is so unto me. Amen and Amen!
